Tom has spent the entirety of his career working in sales and use tax, particularly sales tax compliance. He draws on his experience working at the large account firm Moss Adams as well as the tax technology firm, Vertex.
About Tom Hoopes
While at Moss Adams Tom was focused on helping clients navigate sales tax registrations, audits, and compliance. He has also earned his CMI certification. During his time at Vertex, he led a sales tax compliance group that saw tremendous growth post-Wayfair. His experience working in the tax departments of Aramark and Wolters Kluwer proves valuable in helping TaxCloud understand our customers’ needs.
