Yes. As a Certified Service Provider under the Streamlined Sales Tax program, TaxCloud provides free state registrations and filings in up to 24 SST member states for eligible businesses. Yes. When you connect TaxCloud to Stripe, your products are automatically mapped using Stripe’s Product Tax Codes (PTCs). TaxCloud translates those PTCs into the corresponding TICs (Taxability Information Codes) used for accurate state-level tax calculation and filing. If a mapping needs to be adjusted for a specific product, you can override it directly in the TaxCloud dashboard.
Transaction data from Stripe flows into TaxCloud in real time and is used for nexus tracking, reporting, and filing. TaxCloud does not modify your Stripe billing setup or change how Stripe Tax calculates at checkout. Your existing billing workflows remain unchanged.
