TaxCloud's currently only updates once a month, though they told me they're working on making it update daily. Note you can still see taxed transactions real-time in their admin panel if need be. Onboarding was easy as they guide you through every step of the way. Special shout out to Charlie for always quickly responding. Since completing onboarding, I've only contacted support 1 time so far, but I was able to immediately get an answer through live chat. Most importantly, everything is calculating correctly across all our connected sites based on what we see evaluating their transaction detail screen. TaxCloud's pricing is also better than Avalara and TaxJar, at least in our case. Overall, switching from TaxJar to TaxCloud seems like it will benefit our company.”

As a BC user, there are not a ton of tax tool options from which to choose. I will provide fair forewarning that the *other* two choices are awful - customer service is non-existent with one (to be blunt, one is treated like the company could care less about the potential business and, frankly, as a burden — steer clear (their reviews are a nightmare for a reason)), and the other takes days to respond via email.
I have thus far had an excellent experience with TaxCloud and really happy I went this route.”
