Diane Hardt has had a distinguished 45-year career at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, holding positions such as auditor, audit supervisor, and Director of the Tax Processing and Audit Bureaus.
Appointed as Administrator of the IS&E Division in 1993, Diane oversees tax policy and administration for all income, franchise, sales/use, and excise taxes.
She has played a pivotal role in projects like the Streamlined Sales Tax Project, serving as co-chair and later President of its Governing Board.
Diane’s efforts have earned her numerous accolades, including the FTA Harley T. Duncan Leadership Award in 2019.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting and an MBA from UW-Madison and is a Certified Public Accountant.
