TaxCloud offers an extensive selection of integrations for e-commerce, ERP, CRM, and accounting systems, including real-time integrations with Odoo, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Magento (now Adobe Commerce). Our real-time integrations calculate sales tax on transactions in real-time based on the taxability of the items sold – while collecting order information that will help you with filing. Our real-time integrations are built internally by TaxCloud or by our official partners and are supported.

TaxCloud will completely automate filing and remitting your returns – taking that task entirely off your plate. Vertex, instead, offers you a service where they create signature-ready returns that you still need to check, submit, and remit your funds for.
There are a number of customer complaints online claiming Vertex was slow to respond (based on reviews from Capterra) to customer support requests, that there were issues with down time (based on reviews from Capterra), and that they experienced difficulty with setting up customized tax categories (based on reviews from Capterra).
